We got married in the wonderful Olberg church. Where there is just the right distance up the aisle!
The Kryllingen boat was docked at the church and all the guests got strawberries and Cava on the pier before they took a trip on the Krøderen fjord. The newlyweds were rowed across the water by the best man. He didn't have so much experience rowing a boat before, so it was good entertainment for the guests aboard the Kryllingen!
After a quick walk through the woods we were up at Villa Fridheim. The tables were set for 83 guests, all of which were served a wonderful 4-course dinner. The large dining room has extremely high ceilings, lots of windows and a lovely balcony, which makes it a great room for a spectacular dining experience!
We danced the waltz in the hall while our guests watched from above on the stairs and made us feel like a royal couple. Villa Fridheim is an experience in itself, and the guests thought it was so fun to be there! All our guests stayed at Sole Hotel, so we had booked the bus to take them back after the reception. The newlyweds borrowed a cozy cabin at the Ringnes farm on their wedding night. It was utterly sublime!
The next day we had brunch for all the guests outside in the lovely weather. That way, we got a little more time to be together with them, which we really appreciated.
All in all, a fabulous experience!
